Position :                       Warehouse/Production Supervisor
Location:                      Burlington, Asheboro and Hillsborough, NC
Salary: $40,000-$50,000 DOE

Minimum Qualifications :   Two plus (2+) years of related work experience in a warehouse/production setting.  Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a warehouse/production facility and staff.  Experience with individuals with disabilities a +. Experience in order fulfillment-contracted kitting and assembly work supervision. Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office 365, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.  The ability to import and export files, create and modify MS Excel formulas, navigate large spreadsheets and databases, and inventory management.  Experience with Warehouse Management systems, inventory and billing, and invoicing. Perform daily and weekly Quality Control checks on customers’ inventory and production work.  Experience with safety procedures and safety policy implementation.  Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate counts and problem-solve through discrepancies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The day-to-day management of three warehouse/production facilities with various contracted work.
  • Oversee planning and organization of production projects; assist in developing strategic planning to expand production contributions to the organization.
  • Provide superior customer relations and support.
  • Use computer skills to supervise and perform job tasks, including shipping software, checking raw materials and finished goods into the inventory management system, and performing daily inventory quality control checks. Manage and maintain domestic and international orders and shipments for all products promptly and efficiently.
  • Supervise and manage staff organizing and generating information needed by the customer, including preparing contracts for pick up and delivery. 
  • Regularly assign, manage, and delegate work orders, invoicing, materials, quality standards & deadlines. Structure the work order process and redefine as needed.
  • Assure workflow in production area(s) is maximally efficient.
  • Create/supervise tracking process & system connections as needed and be able to provide reports.
  • Identify supplies required.  Complete requisitions and supply orders using the customer’s portal. 
  • Forecast impact on job cost.
  • Supervise staff transitioning work order to invoice & purchase order; enter into QuickBooks for invoicing to the customer.
  • Supervise monthly invoicing and internal processing for customers and within deadlines.
  • Manage inventory system and supplies.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to questions from employers, customers, and auditors.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner to handle customer complaints using problem-solving skills; maintain and develop positive customer relationships.
  • Measure the performance of OE’s Production Division to meet customers and budget targets.
  • Assure all production quotas and deadlines are met.  Use excellent time management skills to process orders with consistent on-time delivery. 
  • Assist with the quoting process for new work and the requoting of current jobs.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring all safety rules and regulations are met and maintained. 
  • Supervise and Review employee time sheets and complete annual evaluations
  • Manage delivery vehicles maintenance, upkeep and safety
  • Provide safety training and tracking for staff and clients related to warehouse/production work
  • Analyze workflow and collect data to find efficiencies and improvements
  • All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to sit at a computer station or work standing for 8 hours
  • Able to push carts with up to 250 lbs. of parcels across a large warehouse
  • Able to lift boxes and items weighing up to 50 lbs. to overhead shelves
  • Frequently required to stand, stoop, walk, and kneel on the work floor
  • Obtain a license to operate forklifts safely at all times
  • Wear proper safety equipment at all times
