About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Manage payroll processing, including timekeeping and benefits administration.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Assist with audit and tax filing preparations and coordination.
Maintain documentation and records for audit purposes.
Support the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets.
Contribute to financial planning and forecasting activities.
Provide financial support and advice to other departments as needed.
Collaborate with the finance team and other staff to improve financial processes.
Respond to financial inquiries and deliver excellent internal customer service.
Qualifications:

Experience in accounting within the non-profit sector.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
