Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Recycling Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining recycling plant equipment, ensuring the efficient processing of recyclable materials. As a Recycling Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in our mission to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate recycling plant machinery, including balers, conveyors, shredders, and sorting systems.
* Monitor and control the recycling process to ensure the efficient and safe handling of recyclable materials.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Sort and categorize recyclable materials according to type and quality.
* Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including production data and equipment maintenance logs.
* Collaborate with team members to improve plant efficiency and overall performance.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a recycling plant operator or in a similar role within the waste and recycling industry.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with recycling plant equipment.
* Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
