Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Plant Manager to take full responsibility for the budget, technical, and operational performance of our environmental reclamation facility in Adelanto, California. The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of the facility's operations, ensuring adherence to environmental standards and regulatory compliance while promoting sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Plant Manager will oversee and ensure all Health and Safety standards are met to protect employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
* Manage all permit requirements, operational parameters, and compliance monitoring as the Plant Manager.
* As the Plant Manager, you will direct facility operations including maintenance, staff management, and administrative functions.
* Supervise operations to optimize costs, maximize efficiency, and maintain equipment reliability under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
* Coordinate logistics for the movement of recycled materials and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders including permitting agencies and corporate management.
Requirements:
* Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in environmental reclamation or similar operations, with at least four years in a supervisory role.
* Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting, as well as maintenance of heavy equipment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong communication skills across various platforms.
* Familiarity with OSHA Safety and California environmental regulations.
* The Plant Manager should have a background in heavy equipment operations, geotechnical aspects, and material handling techniques.
