Job Description
Position Summary Professional Accountant at MedReview will perform day-to-day senior level accounting for the organization, ensuring prompt and accurate recording of transactions and preparation of the financial statements. The role is hands on and reports to the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to recording and analyzing transactions, monthly closing processes, general ledger, and reconciliations.

- Monitor daily banking activities for fraud and unblocking new ACH debit payees.
- Notify AR and AP of money activities relate to each unit.
- Record all miscellaneous deposit and withdraw that is not AR or AP related in NetSuite.
- Prepare invoices for clients based on supporting documents.
- Initiate Bill Pay, Wire, ACH, internal transfer, and upload ACH payment activities in Chase online.
- Assist Director of Finance for 401K Audit.
- Support in the preparation of periodic (monthly) financial statements: balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.
- Prepare bank reconciliation, follows through on reconciling items, and post banking transaction.
- Prepare and upload retirement plan related transactions to the plan.
- Maintain internal tracking of retirement plan contributions and provide calculations to transfer funds to third-party administrators.
- Coordinate annual and other periodic audits of the financial statements; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Provide third-party accounting firm with assistance in preparation and filing of Federal, State and local tax forms.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process of the company.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills - Extensive knowledge of financial and cost accounting, and, GAAP.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Namely and NetSuite preferred.
Qualifications - Five years of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- US work authorization
Work Environment - Visual and auditory comprehension & function for written & verbal communication.
- Manual dexterity with ability to use computers and other office equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks
- Ability to access various settings, negotiate architectural barriers (i.e., stairs) in office and community settings
- Ability to use public transportation to commute to work
- Monday-Thursday in office
Remote Work Requirements - High speed internet (300 Mbps or higher) with secured WIFI.

- Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
