Job Overview

The Parts Manager is responsible for the oversight of the parts room and clerks. The maintenance of inventory levels and related computer systems in an organized fashion is a priority.

Salary $68,000 - $78,000 based on experience and qualifications

Company covers 100% of premium for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

Company covers 100% of pension contributions.

Expected schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00AM-4:00PM

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure all parts are stocked, properly entered into software and stored in proper shelf locations.
• Order all parts, products, fuel and fluids.
• Utilize and maintain re-order prompts.
• Contact vendors for pricing and product availability.
• Check on backorders weekly, noting key information such as dates, status and who was spoken to.
• Close out any open PO's monthly if all items are received.
• Obtain and process all SDS sheets in books and computer programs.
• Enter all fuel and tire usage.
• Process all additional paperwork.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have 4 years' experience in a bus, truck or auto maintenance facility or dealership
• Strong organizational and detail orientated tendencies.
• Moderate computer skills.
• Effective interpersonal traits.
