Job Description

Position Summary

Creating visually stunning motion graphics, live-action video, and animations for various digital media platforms and channels! Responsible for translating scripted ideas generated by Marketing and team members into various product launch videos, promos, event (tradeshow) deliverables, documentaries, interviews and rich media campaigns. Adapting and optimizing motion graphics for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devices and platforms.  Contribute to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, creatively incorporating brand visuals and identity systems, as well as product iconography and content, typography, visual effects, and sound design into motion graphic and video content. Brainstorm and conceive of motion graphics and edited video content while collaborating with stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision. 

This role must be able to execute and edit creative video work consistent with today’s broadcast and social media quality and style, under deadline pressure.  The ideal candidate should also have experience with driving video content forward in post-production independently and be held responsible for editing a variety of simultaneous multimedia projects. You must be comfortable collaborating with the creative team, including graphic designers, other video editors, and content creators, to conceptualize and storyboard video projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives. You must be skilled with video software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D, to design and execute captivating motion graphic projects as well as be able to direct voice-over sessions and choose and edit music and sound effects.

Studio and field production skills are of value.  Limited travel is required.  The position reports to the Creative Services Sr. Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Conceiving of and executing IGT branded videos and motion graphics for various projects
  • Editing sound and video to effectively tell a story in the most creative manner – on time and within budget
  • Continuing education to stay current with industry-standard software and techniques for creating and delivering media, including cutting edge AI tools
  • Performing various field and studio production roles, including directing and cinematography
  • Be willing/able to travel from time to time, not extensively

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lighting experience a plus
  • Experience in casting and booking talent 
  • Fundamental understanding of script writing/editing

Qualifications

  • BA in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Film and Television Production, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of motion design experience, or broadcast design.
  • Advanced competency with Adobe CC for content creation.  (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator)  3D modeling/animation a big plus – Cinema 4D is preferred.
  • Strong design sense and the ability to create motion graphics from concept to completion 
  • Intuitive ability to turn verbal and written ideas into visual creations
