Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site  with our client in Wendell, NC . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and wiring Medium-and Low-Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers, and Solar Inverters.
• Assembly and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders.
• Perform Sub-assembly work, including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
• Record appropriate job record transactions.
• Read BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings.
• Perform some basic wiring per given instructions when requested.
• Set and correct use of Torque wrenches.
• Adhere to developed processes and methods or seek ways to improve.
• Adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
• Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (2 nd Shift).

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality and Productivity.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience performing mechanical assembly or experience in the mechanical field.
• Forklift driver experience.
• SAP experience.
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery-operated.
• Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values.
• Able to communicate in English (read, write & speak fluently).
• A good team player.
• Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to improve the intended outcomes of the Management System continually.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
