Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that shipping operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the Distribution Solutions team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager. As a warehouse operator/material handler you will commit to follow company policies, procedures and guidelines. The individual will perform a variety of computer based shipping activities. This position also requires forklift certification and the ability to operate various material handling equipment.
Qualifications for the role - Follow all safety and 5S guidelines
- Prepare domestic and export shipments using ERP and Transportation software systems
- Responsible for accurate data entry and processing as per the sales order requirement
- Track & Trace Shipments
- Pull stock to fill customer orders
- Perform accurate inventory counts
- Load and Unload Trucks
- Be a Self-Starter and be willing to cross-train
- Must be dependable
- Communicate clearly
- Flexible to Work Overtime on short notice
- Ability to read and comprehend information
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Physical duties of warehousing: Palletizing product
- Required to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
- Demonstrated experience working in warehouse or manufacturing environment, if applicable
- SAP knowledge is plus
