We are seeking a customer-centric, analytical, and highly motivated research professional to join our Research Team. The Research Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with assigned accounts to drive a high level of customer satisfaction, successful product use and customer retention. You will serve as the primary research point of contact – focused on understanding customer success criteria, addressing questions, resolving issues, and serving as a trusted advisor.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as product ambassador, keen on educating prospects, customers and associates on the value and benefits of our primary research platform.
  • Review all self-serve quantitative and qualitative survey submissions to support adoption of research best practices.
  • Execute full-service research requests, from project intake to delivery of data, with guidance and support from team members.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with assigned accounts, help them with issues, consult on research needs, support annual research planning and continually delight them with a positive, customer-centric attitude.
  • Review the customer journey, determine how it’s supported, and use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.
  • Partner with other internal stakeholders on Customer Success initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations for solutions
  • Advocate on behalf of the client by identifying product development opportunities that reflect customer requests, industry, market, and competitor trends.
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal and account growth.

Who you are:

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, solutions-oriented and possess a driven personality capability of working within tight deadlines.
  • You are able and nimble – and can work in a “start-up” like environment embedded within our large Walmart international corporation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Passionate about market research, consumer insights, technology, and marketing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years of market research experience
  • 3+ years of customer success and/or client-facing experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and phone communicate skills with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading and managing end to end market research projects, including survey programming.
  • Knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

  • Flexible 5 days a week in the office (not a remote/virtual position)
