Live-In Housekeeper in Lincoln Square (UWS-NYC) needed to start late ASAP. 

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Family:

We are a warm, welcoming, and easy-going family living in Lincoln Square on the Upper West Side of NYC. We have a 6-month-old daughter and a spaniel. With plans to expand our family soon, we are looking for a dedicated individual who can grow with us for the long term. The mother works from home in a separate office, and the father goes to the office Monday through Friday.

Role Overview:

As our Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in our family dynamic, providing household support. We value kindness, positivity, reliability, flexibility, communication, and high energy. We prefer a live-in arrangement, offering comfortable accommodations. Accommodations include your own floor of the Townhouse with a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and expanded terrace for your use. 

Job Description:

1. Assisting with Housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, surfaces, making beds, fluffing pillows, and detail cleaning, laundry and organization.
2. Supporting during mealtimes, including meal preparation.
3. Helping with light childcare if mom has an appointment out of the house. This is as needed and housekeeping would go on the back-burner while childcare is involved.
4. Running errands like grocery shopping
5. Walking our spaniel occasionally.
6. Assisting with evening clean-up, especially when hosting guests.

Accommodation :

Your living area will comprise a private, newly renovated floor with an outfitted kitchenette, bathroom, and access to a spacious terrace. The area is accessible by a lift for added privacy and convenience. This setup ensures a comfortable private retreat after a day’s work.

Position Responsibilities:

• Childcare: 1 child (6-month-old daughter - as needed basis)
• Housekeeping: Full housekeeping required
• Cooking: Meal preparation 
• Laundry: Yes
• Ironing: Not required
• Errands: Grocery shopping and child-related errands
• Driving: Preferred, not required
• Travel: Domestic travel required

Position Requirements:

• Work Hours: M-F, Someone with a flexible schedule to work typically 10-7 with breaks and occasional date nights. 40 hours per week
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience
• References: Minimum of 2 references
• Background: Must pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Kind, positive, reliable, flexible, communicative, high energy and flexible

Position Compensation:

• Salary: $25-$30/Per Hour 
• Living Accommodations: Live-in
