Join our team as a Janitor at our Norwood, MA manufacturing facility! As a Janitor, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment, ensuring the well-being of our team and contributing to our success. The day shift schedules are  Monday to Friday 5 a.m. - 1:30p.m. or Tuesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5:30p.m. Second Shift is 5 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.

Primary Assignments:

• Keep our Dry Warehouse, Cooler & Freezer, and receiving docks spotless by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclable materials to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to directions, using them safely to sanitize work areas.
• Assist with organizing the material handling equipment charging area and servicing forklift batteries.
• Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed within the building to ensure a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations and maintain cleanliness standards.

Essential Qualifications:

• Educated in and able to comply with all safety and sanitation requirements to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50lbs on a continual basis, along with standing for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to work in both cold and hot environments for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed during peak seasons.
