We are delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic Health Information Technology ( HIT ) department as a full-time faculty member. This role is designed to support vibrant engagement, whether through on-site involvement at our local campus or via a remote work arrangement, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment for all.

Regardless of the chosen work arrangement, you will lead online courses and/or externships, following our established course development model. This includes delivering instruction through various online methods, both synchronous and asynchronous, to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.

Required Qualification:

• Associates Degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
• AHIMA credential of Registered Health Information Technology ( RHIT ) is required. Consideration will be given to AHIMA coding or other relevant credentials.
• Demonstrated expertise in effective online and blended teaching methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of current HIT trends and technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to be on-site for local candidates and potential remote options for national candidates.
• Dedication to student success and a commitment to academic excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Health Information Management or a similar discipline preferred.
• Community College and/or teaching HIT courses at the college level is preferred.
