Job Summary

We are seeking a Downstream Technology Consultant to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence Organization under our technical support team.

The technical support is a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing the required high quality technical support to GM operating facilities (Refineries NGLF and petrochemical plants) inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & across the globe.

Your primary role will be to support the Technology roadmap and deployment programs which are aimed at maximizing the technology value realization utilization and benefits by deploying innovative and efficient solutions and technologies across Global Manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with This Company Global Manufacturing organizations business and engineering stakeholders to identify evaluate develop and support technology deployment programs.
• Identify and establish a network of strategic technology engineering partnerships to accelerate deployment and provide effective pre and postdeployment support.
• Develop technology roadmaps in collaboration with Global Manufacturing Excellence subject matter experts and corporate organizations.
• Lead portfolio analysis and reviews to prioritize technology portfolios offering insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with This Companys Downstream and Engineering Services organizations to develop consolidated forecast programs and investment plans.
• Foster a shared understanding of longterm business needs prioritized deployment scenarios technology challenges and performance criteria for effective technology solutions.
• Define a value hypothesis for minimum viable products that satisfy business needs validate marketspecific use cases and value propositions and support technology business case development and technoeconomic evaluation.
• Develop and deliver technology deployment plans for each project including opportunities for intellectual property exploitation.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Hold a Bachelors Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline with a preference for an advanced degree such as an MBA or Finance.
• Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in technology scouting research and development with at least 5 years in product development technology marketing and exposure to energyrelated and/or softwarerelated technology licensing.
• Finance experience in downstream refinery chemicals natural gas distribution energy services alternative or renewable energy engineering and technology innovation is required.
• Demonstrate expertise across the StrategytoValue technology lifecycle including R&D and IP strategy engineering scaleup project development economic evaluation supply chain development risk evaluation and mitigation as well as strategy and business development.
• Have extensive experience in developing business cases for new strategies or products.
