Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial performance of the Degy companies by reporting and analyzing financial and operational data, generating detailed reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes using Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and QuickBooks. You will influence the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of our business by collaborating with the accounting, sales and marketing teams and senior management. You will also work closely with the CEO and the Finance Manager to evaluate and make recommendations about opportunities for acquisitions and strategic partnerships that align with company goals and objectives. The position reports to the Finance Manager and is a great opportunity to join a company with significant year over year organic growth.

COMPENSATION: Annual starting salary: $65,000 USD

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Data Reporting: Generate and deliver regular and ad-hoc financial and operational reports, presentations and analyses using data from Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and QuickBooks. Support department KPI reporting requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Develop product pricing and profitability models
  • Salesforce Integration: Utilize Salesforce for data extraction, ensuring the integration and accuracy of financial data for reporting purposes.
  • Tableau Dashboards: Design and maintain Power BI and/or Tableau reports and dashboards to visualize key financial metrics and trends for stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including accounting, sales, operations and marketing to understand reporting needs and provide insights.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data across systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial data reporting processes and systems.
  • Lead and/or contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Crosstrain with other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a financial analyst or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce for data management and reporting.
  • Expertise in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online for financial data management and reporting.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate with various teams and present reports effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues and propose solutions. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards and effective time management.
