Job Description

As a Remote Destination Wedding Planner you will be responsible for orchestrating every aspect of our clients destination weddings from initial consultation to the big day itself. You will work closely with couples to understand their vision preferences and budget then leverage your expertise to curate personalized and memorable experiences in stunning locations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with couples to understand their wedding vision preferences and budget constraints.
  2. Destination Research: Research and recommend suitable wedding destinations based on clients preferences considering factors such as climate culture legal requirements and budget.
  3. Vendor Coordination: Source and liaise with local vendors including venues caterers florists photographers and entertainment negotiating contracts and securing bookings.
  4. Budget Management: Create and manage comprehensive budgets for each wedding ensuring all expenses are accounted for and adhering to clients financial constraints.
  5. Logistics Planning: Coordinate travel arrangements accommodations transportation and other logistical details for the couple and their guests.
  6. Event Design: Collaborate with clients to design the overall look and feel of the wedding including themes decor and special touches.
  7. Timeline Management: Develop detailed timelines and itineraries for each wedding ensuring that all events and activities run smoothly and on schedule.
  8. Problem Resolution: Anticipate and address any challenges or issues that may arise before or during the wedding providing prompt and effective solutions.
  9. Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning process providing updates guidance and support as needed.
  10. PostWedding FollowUp: Conduct postwedding evaluations with clients to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with the overall experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event planning preferably with a focus on destination weddings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customercentric approach.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service.
  • Proficiency in budget management and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations wedding customs and cultural sensitivities.
