Job Description



AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architecture Designer III to join our Boston Architecture studio to work on challenging and rewarding projects. 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Performing basic architectural calculations for spatial design and programming.
  • Preparing designs, drawings, renderings, presentations, specifications, reports, and related materials
  • Maintaining liaison with design and project management teams across the studio
  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required
  • Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities with staff in other disciplines and departments participating in an assigned project
  • Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design personnel

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Architecture
  • 5 years of experience as an Architect or Architectural Designer on a variety of building types
  • Ability to become a licensed architect in the future
  • Experience with Adobe Suite , Autodesk Revit, Enscape, Rhino and SketchUp
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
