Job Description:
Salary Range:
The expected salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 annually. Pay will vary based on your skills, experience, and location.
Position Overview:
Join our dynamic remote team as an Agile Product Coach, where you'll have the opportunity to support our federal client by mentoring and guiding product owners in adopting Agile principles and best practices for product ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach product owners on a Data Science project in Agile principles and best practices, helping them enhance their skills in backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, and product visioning.
- Train product owners on techniques to create and maintain a well-defined, prioritized, and value-driven product backlog.
- Guide product owners through Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, ensuring they are well-prepared and that outcomes align with business goals.
- Help product owners foster and manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring product goals align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Assist product owners in developing clear product visions and roadmaps that reflect business goals and customer feedback, supporting long-term planning and strategic decision-making.
- Introduce and monitor key product-related metrics, such as customer satisfaction, business outcomes, and delivery efficiency, ensuring that decisions are driven by data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Agile coach, product owner, or product management professional, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
- Proven ability to mentor and guide product owners in Agile practices, product strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of data science and data engineering concepts.
- A track record of helping product owners identify and overcome bottlenecks and challenges in product development processes.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with the Federal Government.
- Agile Certifications such as:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Agile Certified Product Manager
- Agile Coaching Certification.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field.
Clearance Requirement:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
