Job Description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant II for our client in the IT Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract with high possible extension

Location: Honolulu, HI

Salary: $24.00/Hourly

Role Description: As an Administrative Assistant II , you must have at least 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Supports one or more mid-to senior-level managers and department staff of 15. 

- Works in a diverse and more complex environment; and includes some customer and executive contact. 

- Performs complex administrative activities including managing projects, composing letters and reports, preparing/editing presentations, and recommending or making purchase orders. 

- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. 

- Duties may include more complex administrative activities: managing projects, composing letters and reports, developing newsletters, preparing presentations, recommending or making purchase orders. 

- Has intermediate to advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and basic presentation or database applications. 

- In addition to typical office administrative work supporting Human Resources Department, 2 key items during this time are 1) to pack administrative office for an office move. Date to move is TBD early 2025 and 2) distributing employee service awards.

- Minimal travel if need to help with setting up a conference room, urgent delivery of mail to U.S. post office if can’t be done using Client US Postal mail process, as examples. This is very infrequent.

- Parking Situation: validated parking at facility.

- Dress Code: business casual and depending on the task, can wear jeans for that day.

- Required Level of Education and Preferred Level of Education: prefer college but okay if some post high school or work equivalent

- 3 years of related experience

- Specific Systems Knowledge Required: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access.

- Specific Systems Knowledge Preferred: ability to quickly learn Client specific systems such as HR system.

- Expected Shift: Day 8-5 or 830-530 M-F

- Interview Process: virtual preferred but can in-person.

Education: High School Grad, College is preferred

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
